Manufacture of Semi-Conductors and Igbt Sensors in Russian Federation
What is a semiconductor? It's mainly produced of materials with certain electrical resistance (it is among the resistance of a conductor and a non-conductor). Whims of temperature or used “impurities” also influence the resistance.
The term “admixtures” is for the other elements mixed to the material. The finished mixture characterizes the semiconductors as thyristors of type-n or type-t.
Diodes as well as transistors are manufactured of the two kinds of semi-conductors. Mainly silicon is applied to produce semiconductors these days.
Semi-conductor material is used to create diodes which serve for putting the stream of electrical current only in one direction. There is a layer of + (positive) combination, - (negative) construction and so-called pn-transfer fixed as barrier level in each diode. Electrical circuits which change among alternating and direct electrical current are created using diodes. Because that diodes let current go only in a single direction only a part of the series or cycle is fulfilled. Rectifier is the expression for such a connection.
Speaking of the light diodes fixed as LED, they are applied to get light at low voltages avoiding producing warmth. These days developers use LED diodes as the light showing the standby mode of all kinds of electronic equipment.
Moore's law gave way to the popularization of thyristors manufactures. The main point for making complex power semiconductor equipment at smaller cost is now lithography. Concerning optical lithography, it now gives way to the popularization of other techniques because it has reached its physical limit. Presumedly ultraviolet lithography and nano-imprint lithography can become the successors to optical lithography. (more…)
